We organised a hike up Tokai forest to Elephants Eye, we were suppose to meet friends there but they all cancelled on the last minute. So we decided to hike up anyway as we had never gotten to the top, the “eye”. Just before we got to the top of the mountain, a group of friends started popping out from the bushes in front of me. As I turned around, to ask him if he was also seeing them or had I lost my mind, he was down on one knee… He had askd them to hike up in front of us and just call in and pretend to cancel the hike. We, as a group, hiked the rest of the way to the “eye”, I don’t remember seeing much of it as I was too busy staring at my ring. Thank goodness for photos though. As we all got back down to the car park, there was my parents waiting for us, popping the champagne…awesome day!
