I stayed over at Colin’s house on the Friday night. The next morning he got up super early and told me I could stay in bed. In the meantime he was cooking up a storm and had set up a table outside for a delicious breakfast. The table was set up with a tablecloth and flowers and a teapot with tea and everything. Then after breakfast he said he had a gift for me, and came out with a new camera!! So already I was happy, and never could expect what came next. He said he had already taken a photo, I must look. So I switched the camera on and pressed the view button. Then it was a photo of a poster that said: “Melany-Ann, will you marry me?”. Then, in shock, I looked up at him, and he had the ring in his hand! I was so shocked- my first words were “No way!”. I had no idea he would propose, because he always joked about only getting married when he’s 30 and he’s only 24 now… It was the best day of my life!
