Robin had everything planned to the finest detail. I had an appointment at a nearby spa for the morning and was oblivious to his “plotting and scheming”. It was to be a proposal on top of Table Mountain. He carefully monitored the weather all morning, but to his disappointment, the weather did not want to play along – a real wintery, overcast day it was! Be that as it may, he took me home and spoilt me for the afternoon. He then disappeared for some time to the room before coming back and making the most romantic proposal on bended knee. Needless to say, I had no doubt in my mind that I wanted to spend my life with him….and accepted without hesitation!
