On 30th september 2009 after 3 weeks of planning, I took my fiance, Kaashiefah, to the V & A Waterfront in Cape Town. She had no clue what I was going to do. We first went to have brunch at St Elmos. Then I told her “Lets go for a boatride”. There I thought we would be alone, but overseas tourists and some of South Africans were there, so it made me more nervous. Eish, so on our way back to the waterfront, I gave the captain my mobile to video my proposal ,then I sang her favourite song – “Nothing’s gonna change my love for you” by Glenn Medairos and while the boat is moving from side to side, I’m falling all over the boat. She was so shocked and she started crying. Then I proposed. She said yes. Every one started clapping. Bad news was that the captain messed up the video clip. It was the most romantic moment that she and I will never forget. We are getting married on the 12th December 2010. I just can’t wait.
