Ferdi spoke to my parents with out me knowing and bought the ring that I liked…On Sunday, 22 August, he woke me up with breakfast in bed and told me to please dress up nicely, since he wants to take me out for the day… It was a rainy day in cape town. We drove all the way to Gordon’s Bay (my favorite place). We drove up to Steenbras dam where I took him for our first anniversary. The view is just stunning. When we stopped there, the rain stopped and it was just perfect… we went to go and sit on the bench and he went on one knee and asked me to marry him… I was overwhelmed with emotions and said yes… He then went to the car and got a bottle of JC Le Roux LaFlorette that I love…
