Cape Food het die afgelope twee jaar diens by die Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation op Fancourt gedoen. Cape Food het die spyseniering-, skoonmaak- en wasgoedkontrak vir die EEFF hanteer.
Die eerste wat my opgeval het van die mense wat indiens is van Cape Food is hul vriendelikheid. Hulle almal het n soort van n moedersrol by die EEFF vervul. Ek weet ook dat daar oor die afgelope twee jaar hegte vriendskappe met die lede van die EEFF gevorm is. Iets waarop Cape Food trots kan voel.
Ek kan net met groot lof van die Cape Food span praat. Dit was n plesier om met hulle saam te werk en ek sal hulle met graagte aanbeveel vir soortgelyke projekte.
Die volgende het my van die Cape Food span opgeval:
- Hul vermoee om kos van hoe standaard teen n baie kompeterende prys te lewer. Hul kwotasie het baie goed met hul kompetisie vergelyk.
- Hulle het binne die begroting gebly soos ooreengekom rakende die aankoop van voorraad, salarisse en ander uitgawes.
- Die porsies wat met maaltye bedien word, is smaakvol en voldoende.
- Die personeel word goed bestuur.
- Ekstra take soos funksies is ook op n hoe standaard gedoen.
- Dit is n plesier om met die senior personeel van Cape Food te werk. Hulle was altyd bereikbaar en bereid om te luister rakende versoeke om veranderings op die spyskaart aan te bring.

On my 40th birthday my wife surprised me with a spitbraai at our home in Mossel bay.
The lamb was spit braaied to absolute perfection. Soft, succulent meat with garlic and rosemary stuffing. And the basting sauce the chef used was like no other I have eaten before. The staff arrived all dressed in chef’s uniforms, neat presentable. It was quite something to see them set up the buffet tables, plates and shining stainless steel hot dishes all with quick and practised hands. They worked hygienically and kept cleaning there hands with some special goo that they said keeps there hands germ free. Without exception all 40 guest were complimentary about the food.
The desserts were great and my day was made. Probably the only good thing about turning 40!

The last problem you want on the big day is trouble with the caterers. They came highly recommended by friends of ours and the team from Cape Food truly excelled and exceeded our expectations when they deliver a great menu for our wedding on Wilderness beach, South Africa. Fresh, colourful Mediterranean dishes garnished with flare and prepared with passion.
Not your average wedding Caterer. More than exceptional actually…
