Pre marriage programme

If you want a long lasting and happy marriage, then you have to learn the proper skills to make your "happily ever after" a reality.

The pre-marriage counselling programme gives you the opportunity to explore your relationship's strengths and also identify possible areas for growth. It offers some useful communication skills that include active listening and teaches you, as a couple, the tools to resolve conflicts and reach your personal, couple and family goals.

The Prepare programme aims to promote healthy relationships to enhance mutual satisfaction and to maximise potential in couples and enables couples to get to know each other better before marriage.

Personal Growth within relationships

High quality relationships and high quality marriages are considered by most people to be the most rewarding and also the most challenging part of their whole life. Yet we often underestimate just how challenging relationships can become. We tend to think that a relationship is about two static beings reacting to each other. It is actually about two dynamic beings continuously re- negotiating their interactions.

The most successful marriages have a strong relationship foundation and a high level of emotional safety. If we understand ourselves better, we will be better able to interact with our partners on a deeper emotional level. Our desire is to help the individuals in the relationship, to connect with themselves through self exploration, improving emotional intelligence, talking to other men and woman and sharing experiences and thoughts. Being involved with pre marriage programmes, we have become increasingly aware of the need of partners to understand themselves and their own emotions better, this in turn will influence how they react and what the quality is of their interactions with their partners.

The programme will consist of 4 group sessions of one to one and a half hours each.
