Overview

Big Day Big Picture attracts clients that are down to earth, free spirited, often funny, definitely arty and very demanding. I guess this is because like attracts like and these are the values and attributes that I hold dear.

I’m demanding, but not in a stamping my feet kind of way. I expect the best – from myself and from my equipment – and I aim, always, to deliver my best. I get frustrated with bad service because I know that it's so easy to change, and I often wonder why more people don't. The people who like working with me are definitely people who expect, and receive, top quality. They don't like mediocrity.

At the same time, they're really easy going, chilled people. I know it's a contradiction, but it works. We're people who love the fullness of life, who love being with friends and family and who, above all, enjoy a good laugh. In a nutshell, we love the beauty that life has to offer. My photography is crucially all about the relationships I have with the people in front of my lens. If I don't get them, or if they don't get me, we'll end up with a product that neither of us are happy with.
