Our Story:

Studio Memoir was started by colleagues who had been working in the corporate production space for clients such as Investec, Nokia, Coca-Cola and the like. They realized that not all productions are the same, and wanted to provide the specialized, professional, and exclusive standard of work they had done in the corporate world to people who were looking for more “personal” productions such as weddings, barmitzvahs, 21sts and family events. All of these events center around capturing memories that you can share in the future with your friends and family, and so a memory studio was born, Studio Memoir.

Re-living your memories:

We understand that a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and that you want the day to be about sharing your moment together with family and friends, and so make every effort to not get in the way of this. Our philosophy is to approach the wedding as naturally as possible, and fit in around your dreams for the day rather than our crew dictate how things should work, which often happens in wedding videography and photography. Our style is creative and artistic, and we wish only to reflect the beauty of your day as it plays out.

With every event that we shoot, we shoot everything. This is because we don’t believe in giving you anything less than the full story. You get a broadcast quality production with cinematic shots, clear audio and beautifully colour graded images. You get far more than photo’s in a frame… you will get a your special events captured in a way that reflects who you are, and invites you to re-live your memories with your friends and family. You will work with professional camera operators and experienced editors who will artistically craft your events video. In the end you get a personalised production that is delivered on Blu-Ray disks with stunning animated menus and scene selections.
