Pheasant Hill House is situated outside Irene and close to the Rietvlei dam and Rietvlei Nature reserve. We offer tranquil surroundings for weddings, honeymoon sleep over or the ideal setting to get dressed and for those unique photos in our beautiful gardens. Pheasant Hill has 14 luxurious suites professionally and stylishly decorated for your comfort.

We have a beautiful outside chapel in the style of an Amphi theatre with a wooden deck over the water for the ceremony.

Next to the chapel is the sand arena for the horses in which you can pitch different tents for different styles of weddings. You can do a formal wedding in a formal marquees with a wooden floor or themed weddings like a Moroccan wedding or Medieval wedding. You can even get the feeling of a beach wedding on the sand and have your tables set on the sand and only have a dance floor put in.

Up stairs from this on a different level, but overlooking the arena we have an area under the trees next to the fountain which we cover with stretch tents. Here you can do any type of function and we can seat up to 100 people here. This area can be decorated with fairy light and at night you have the fountain as background. This area can be used for a morning or evening wedding.

The swimming pool area is right next to the conference and function venue. The outside swimming pool area can be covered with a stretch tent as well with café tables around the pool with floating flowers and candles in the pool. This is very romantic setting for up to 40/45 people and with the small function venue right next to it, it forms a very versatile area.

We also have an area next to the arena on the other side of the Gazebo with café tables under the trees. This is an ideal setting for an informal morning wedding for up to 60 people. We put a horse in the arena to get the country estate feeling for functions like this.

Our gardens are picturesque for taking those once in a lifetime wedding photos. You can also take photos in the guest house or with the horses to make our old world charm part of your special day.
