Full cream wholesomeness is what comes to mind when thinking of this rustic, yet elegant venue. We are looking forward to host your wedding celebration, in an old stone barn, called the ‘Klipskuur‘. The ‘Klipskuur‘ is located on the Leonards’ family farm, Rietfontein, situated only 100 km south of Johannesburg. The old barn has been built in 1914 and has lovingly been renovated and converted into a farm style chic venue. Come celebrate with your loved ones against a backdrop of unpretentious charm and old world simplicity.
Vows can be exchanged in a black wattle forest with a choir of crickets in the background or on the stoep adjacent to the venue. Couples preferring a more traditional ceremony can choose one of the beautiful churches in Heidelberg, the quaint little town nearby.
80 – 150 guests can sit down to a feast of hearty food which includes veggies from the chef’s own vegetable garden.
Affordable accommodation is available on the farm as well as the surrounding area.
