Alice in Wonderland Wedding Theme

An Alice in Wonderland theme is perfect for a fairytale day with a difference. To modernise it, think Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen in Tim Burton’s recent version of Lewis Carroll’s favourite original.

Alice in Wonderland is known for being so different from other, more traditional, fairytales. Bold colours and patterns are the order of the day for this innovative theme. Think of bright contrasts, stripes and polka dots.

Introduce famous characters (such as Alice, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts) throughout your wedding by including them (or their iconic clothing) in your decor, photo props, attire and accessories.

Fill antique tea sets with candles and flowers, and use these as striking centrepieces.
Formal topiaries will make stunning aisle liners or centrepieces.
