Wedding Photographers FAQs
How much does a wedding photographer cost?
Each photographer will have different pricing and packages and each photographer's package will be different. For example some photographers may include an Engagement Shoot or Boudoir shoot as part of their package, whereas another may offer the inclusion of a photo album.
What is a Trash the Dress photo shoot?
Simply put, it's a photo shoot where you take the opportunity to trash your dress, after the wedding has taken place of course. It's an opportunity to have some fun in the rain, with some paints or in the sea or swimming pool. You can read more indepth info on our Trash the Dress article.
Is an engagement shoot necessary?
Having an engagement shoot is a personal preference, but one of the top reasons to consider having this type of shoot is it's a great opportunity to get to know your wedding photographer and their personality and vice versa, so that when the BIG DAY arrives, you have an idea on what to expect from your photographer and the photos they produce or deliver.
What photos should I make sure are taken on the wedding day?
The Must Have Wedding Shots article includes a full list of photographs we suggest you ask your photographer to include. To ensure all the photos are captured, email the list to the wedding photographer at least a week or two before the wedding day. And, for safety sake, print 2 copies of the list for you and the photographer to use as a reminder (if needed).
